Today we conducted research on topics related to our reading of the memoir Nisei Daughter.
Our goals were twofold:
1) improve our research skills
2) learn background information
If you were absent, you need to complete this assignment. You may choose whichever of the six topics you like. BEFORE you start taking notes on the topic, you must put the website through the SMELL test. You may NOT use Wikipedia to complete this work. Choose another website. You will need to click around within the website to answer all the questions. Look for buttons that say things like "about us," "who we are," "our history," etc. Your answers must be in complete sentences. After finishing the SMELL test, then take notes on your topic. Be thorough. Lastly, complete the reflection.
