11/20/19: Finish ch 6
Today we:
- Submitted journal entries 1-6.
- Reviewed the speeches we read last class and connected them to Nisei Daughter. We finished page 3 of the handout. Make sure that in the right hand column, you explain a) how this shows the same thinking as the speech and b) how exactly it affected the family. Your writing should clearly demonstrate that you understand how the quote connects to the ideas in the speech and how the family is affected by this. Explain it.
- Reviewed political cartoons and completed an assignment about them. If you were absent, make sure that your observations are detailed. Make a bullet-pointed list.

- Read ch 7
- Complete a journal entry

Nisei Daughter Chapter 6 + speeches
