Friday, 12/20

Today we:

1. Took a vocab quiz. If you were absent, you need to arrange to make up the quiz by January 15.
2. Worked through a self-assessment of our own writing, had a peer edit our work, checked our work against the rubric, and then submitted final drafts of the paragraph. If you were absent, you will need to work through this process on your own and submit your work via Teams. If you were absent, this work is due ASAP.

EQ2 Paragraph

Due Thursday, 12/19: your completed paragraph about EQ2.
Due Friday, 12/20: the graphic organizers for EQ2.

Monday, 12/16: Writing about EQ1

Today we worked on completing two graphic organizers and then writing a first best draft of a single paragraph response that demonstrates how Kazuko's grows, changes, or evolves in regards to EQ1.

Absent students need to complete the graphic organizers.

Then ALL students need to upload their first best draft of the paragraph into TEAMS (login through office.com using your ISD login info) by 11:59 pm on Tuesday.

Reminder about quiz retakes: read the document posted on Mrs. Dragavon's website, then you must EMAIL Mrs. Dragavon to pre-arrange completing the retake.

Friday, 12/6: Chapter 10 part 1:

• We read this article in class and completed the handout (look in the absent work binder)

Tuesday, 12/10: Chapter 10 part 2

Today we went over how to do journal entries better for the next submission. Entries for chapters 7-12 are due on Thursday! Click here to see the slides that break down EQ 1-2.

We then completed a graphic organizer about the tea party. Find those directions at the end of this linked document.

We also took the vocab quiz. If you missed the quiz, you need to arrange to make it up!
